Differences in Facility Types

There are 2 kind of facilities to chose from when creating a new location, Fitness Facility and Storage Facility. The facility type is set during Facility Creation and can not be modified after creation. Equipment can be transferred into either facility type without penalty.

Fitness Facility

This is the standard facility type. It has full access to all standard features. Equipment within a fitness facility can be upgraded to Connected.

Storage Facility

This facility type is limited to edit and transfer functionality and is intended as offsite equipment storage. Connected equipment transferred into a Storage facility will no longer track live data. A storage facility cannot contain a gateway or live connected equipment.
