What is the Gateway?
The Gateway is the central receiving unit for all sensors within your facility. It collects all of the equipment usage data and sends it to Ecofit. It is important that the Gateway remains connected at all times to ensure that your utilization data is up-to-date.
This section shows the current connection status of every Gateway on your network.
The Gateway is connected and reporting data as expected.
The Gateway is powered off or has not been able to connect to Ecofit.
The Gateway status currently updates every hour. Any changes made to the Gateway to regain a connection will take about an hour to show on the portal.
- Ensure that the Gateway is connected to both power and an active Ethernet connection.
- Power Cycle the Gateway by unplugging and plugging the power cable back in.
- Review the network requirements for the Gateway.
The gateway requires an update when a sensor has been added or replaced through the installation app or archived through the portal.
The Gateway update can be completed by using the installation app.
