Adding Facilities to Facility 360

Facilities are created automatically during the API provisioning process completed by Matrix.

What happens if the facility already exists as an Ecofit location?

The automated process will detect duplication and add the equipment to the existing location.

Will Matrix still be able to see equipment added to an existing Ecofit location?

Yes, Matrix will be able to see all Matrix API equipment regardless of whether it was created via the provisioning process.

Can I still use the "Add Facility" function on Facility 360?

Yes, you are still able to add a facility using the "Add Facility" function. If the facility has already been created via the API provisioning process you will be notified that there is a duplication. If the facility has not yet been created then an empty facility will be created. Once the API provisioning process takes place it will detect the existing location.
