Can I edit Matrix API equipment from within Facility 360?
Yes, but with some caveats.
- Changes made to equipment fields will be reflected on Facility 360 only. Changes made to equipment via Facility 360 do not get transmitted to the equipment in any way.
- Editing equipment details will not sever the API link. For instance, changing the serial number will not break or change the connection to the Matrix API. (Though doing this is not recommended).
- While editing model information is possible it is not recommended. The model information is set automatically by the API. If this info appears to be incorrect please contact support to rectify.
