Ecofit System Installation Overview

What is the Ecofit System?

The Ecofit System is a fitness asset tracking system that uses sensors to record the utilization of strength and cardio equipment.

Relay Uses: C-Safe Cardio Only Power: C-Safe Bluetooth Configuration: NO	Tracker Uses: C-Safe and non C-safe Cardio, Strength (Accelerometer) Power: Battery or C-Safe (with C-Safe Cable) Bluetooth Configuration: YES	Gateway Use: The central receiver for sensors. All sensors must be configured to a Gateway in order to function. A location can employ multiple Gateways to account for range. Power: 5V 2.0A Power Supply (Provided) Sensor Connection: Wireless Sensor Capacity: 500/Gateway

Required Steps Of A Successful Installation:

1 - The Gateway has been Installed and registered.

the Gateway should be be installed and live before any other step takes place. While the Gateway requires a stable internet connection in order to function, the sensor registration and Tracker configuration can still take place if the Gateway is not connected.

NOTE: The system will not be able to function beyond initial set-up until the Gateway has obtained a stable internet connection and power.

2 - All sensors have been properly installed on the equipment.

3 - All sensors have been registered using the Ecofit Installation App.

4 - All sensors have been configured and verified using the Ecofit Installation App.

Configuration and verification status can be easily distinguished by using the icons next to the equipment entries on the app.

5 - The Gateway is live and up-to-date.

After the sensors have been configured it is important to update the Gateway. This ensures that the Gateway contains the most up to date configuration file. If the Gateway does not get updated then the sensors registered to it will not be able to communicate.
