The Gateway is the central receiving point for the Trackers, Relays and Amenity (T-Max) Tracking. It is important to note the following:
- Up to 500 sensors can be registered to a Gateway.
- The Gateway has a typical range of about 50m (164 ft).
- If the facility has more than 1 floor, or if the equipment is spread out over the range noted above, a second Gateway may be required.
- There is no limit to how many Gateways are registered to a facility.
How and when to install the Gateway:
The Gateway should be installed and registered before the installation takes place. This ensures that any network issues, such as firewall blocks, are resolved before the installer is on site. This will save the install a lot of time.
