Once a Tracker has been registered to the Gateway it can be configured. Configuring the Tracker allows you to set a custom movement profile for the sensor. This ensures that the equipment will track accurate data and not be impacted by cross talk.
Note! While Tracker can be configured regardless of the connection status of the Gateway, the Gateway will need to be updated for the changes to take effect.
Note! All Trackers are set to “travel” mode by default and will not connect to the Gateway until they are configured.
Movement Algorithm Breakdown:
- Vibration
- This is the default algorithm that detects general movement. It should only be used if the other options are not appropriate.
- Linear
- This method is used when the tracker moves in a up/down or side-to-side movement, such as a weight stack.
- Angle
- This method is used when the tracker moves in an arc, such as on a swing arm or pivot point.
- Rotational
- This method is used when the tracker spins in a circle, like on a crank shaft or fly wheel.
- Mode 1
- CSAFE: Used on Cardio equipment. Must use the supplied cable to connect to the equipment CSafe port. This is the most common mode and should be used by default.
- Mode 7
- CSAFE: Used on Cardio equipment. Must use the supplied cable to connect to the equipment CSafe port. This is an alternate mode of Csafe that should only be used when instructed to do so.
