If a Relay has been removed from the equipment it can be reconnected very easily.
Tools/Parts Required:

Relay C-safe Cable

This is the RJ45 cable that connects the Relay to the C-safe port on the equipment. If a replacement cable is required please contact Ecofit Support. |
Process:
1 - Apply new Dual Lock adhesive to the Relay (if necessary).
If the Dual Lock pad on the bottom of the Relay has been removed then replace it wth a new 1x1" square from the mounting kit. |
2 - Locate the paired equipment.
Match The Reference Code:
To locate the equipment that the Relay is registered to by matching the reference code on the equipment sticker (it should be located on the base of the equipment) with the reference code on the Relay.
Find the Equipment on the Asset Portal:
Locate the linked equipment by searching for the Tracker Reference Code on the facility page of the Asset Portal.
3 - Locate the C-Safe Port on the equipment.
This is usually located on the back of the equipment console (either exposed or hidden behind a cover) or, rarely, on the base of the equipment. |
4 - Re-mount the Relay.
Using the Relay C-Safe Cable, plug one end into the equipment C-Safe port and the other into the Relay.
The old mounting pad may still be in place. This will match the mounting pad on the bottom of the Relay. If it is still present then simply press the unit back on. If the pad is no longer present then a new 1x1" piece will need to be used from the mounting kit.
5 - Testing the Relay.
If the equipment is powered then the lights on the Relay should immediacy light up.
To test for full functionality either:
Begin a quick start session and review the Relay light patterns.
OR
Use the Installation App and complete a Relay Verification.
